December 30, 2008--A Visit with the GP

Paul saw his general practioner today. This is a doctor that he has seen for 23 years and who knows Paul well. He had good advice and information for Paul concerning his heart medication and was also eager to guide Paul in a healthy strategy for continued recuperation and future re-entry. It was an encouraging visit and he was glad to be in good hands.

    Thank you Nancy for this great way of keeping everyone updated on how Paul is doing. Paul we are glad you are feeling better and in the care of familiar hands. We are praying for you and think of you often. You are missed!

    P.S. Be a good patient... you'll be well again someday and subject to "normal" treatment!

  3. Hi Paul and Nancy,
    Wow! This is a great idea! There are so many people who want to know how you're both holding up. The pictures are very reassuring. And you look a lot younger in the stress test one, Paul (chuckle ;o). Thanks for keeping us all posted.
    Love and prayers,
    Diane

  5. This is SO COOL! We think of you all so often, and are praying for Paul regularly. And Paul, isn't it cool that you didn't miss much at church around Christmas? God kept EVERYONE home with recliners and afghans calling their name! Not too many people out there on their aerobic walks, either. . .

    We love you, miss you, and along with you, are trusting God to bring to full recovery in His perfect time!

    With love and hugs,
    The Adents :-)

  10. Isaiah 27:3
    I the LORD will keep it;
    I will water it every moment: Lest any hurt it, I will keep it day and night.

    Paul and Nancy,

    This verse is our prayer for you this week as we are encouraged to know that the LORD is a wall of protection and a well of nourishment for you during this time and always. We thank the Lord for you creating this blog that we may be "...encouraged in heart and united in love so that we may ahve teh full riches of complete understanding, in order that we may know the mystery of God, namely Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge". As we see your journey through this trial, our own faith in Jesus grows as we see God turning this trial into good for the glory of his name.

    Love,
    Ikeharas
